Ukraine's Energy Sector: A Course Towards Decentralization, Green Generation, and EU Integration

On July 11, Rome hosted the international forum «Recovery and Investments in Ukraine's Energy Sector» organized by Energy Club.

The event became a strategic bridge between the needs of the Ukrainian energy sector and the opportunities of international investors, bringing together key Ukrainian and European energy market players, government officials, and financial partners to move from discussions to concrete investment projects.

The event was supported by our partners: SPP DEVELOPMENT UKRAINE, Eco-Optima, and the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX).

The main messages: «Ukraine is not just restoring the destroyed energy infrastructure, but is building a new, decentralized and EU-integrated system that will become the foundation of energy security for the entire continent.»

«Ukrainian companies, both state-owned and private, continue to drill new wells, repair equipment and maintain production.»

«Despite the war, the Ukrainian wind energy market is active and open.

«Eco-Optima is an example of extraordinary resilience.»

Yurii Fedak, Deputy Director for Development at Eco-Optima LLC, said: «For us, renewables are about energy independence. We build even when others stop!»
