Eco-Optima Group is developing a new investment project - the construction of a hydroelectric power plant! To promote sustainable development, “ Liga ” LTD Llc, a member of the Eco-Optima Group, has started construction of a small hydropower plant on the Western Bug River.

To date, preparatory work has been carried out: the construction site has been arranged, the necessary materials and equipment have been delivered, the lower reaches of the river have been fenced off fr om water, and a dry dock has been created wh ere the power plant building will be erected and the power generating equipment installed.

The power will be generated by a Kaplan vertical turbine with a nominal maximum power output of 1078 kW, manufactured by the Czech company Mavel, a partner of the Eco-Optima Group.

To transmit the generated electricity, a complete 1250 kV transformer substation was installed and a 6 kV overhead line was built to connect to the networks of the distribution system operator Lvivoblenergo.

The estimated date of commissioning of the Sokal HPP is the third quarter of 2025.
