A representative of Eco-Optima spoke at the II Land Forum in Lviv

The environmentalist from Eco-Optima, who is also the head of the SEA and EIA committee at the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World, presented a report on “Water and subsoil: the role of pre-project screening at the EIA and SEA stage.” In her speech, the speaker drew attention to important aspects of pre-project screening at the SEA and EIA stage:

- why pre-project screening is strategically necessary in SEA and EIA processes;

- how to ensure the effective and environmentally safe use of water resources and subsoil;

- how to obtain a high-quality environmental impact assessment and implement the principles of sustainable development of territories;

- risk factors and growth points for communities and businesses in the process of project preparation and implementation.
