15.09.2025
We have finalized the results of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum in Lviv and are sharing the findings!
The event was initiated and organized by the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA) with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional Military Administration. Eco-Optima LLC was a strategic partner and active participant in the Forum.
The platform brought together leading international experts, representatives of energy companies, government and local authorities, legal and financial partners in the industry, becoming a venue for professional dialogue on energy sustainability during wartime, current trends, challenges, and prospects for the development of wind energy in Ukraine.
The first day of the Forum was active: with a rich program, thematic sessions, exclusive presentations, and a guest visit to the Zenyk Art Gallery.
"The event showed how relevant the topic of wind power generation is for Ukraine and Europe, and how wind and all alternative energy sources help us to be resilient in difficult times. The Forum brought together businesses, government, communities, and scientists for a common goal—creating a sustainable energy system for Ukraine. Investing in wind energy today means energy independence tomorrow," said Zinoviy Kozytskyi, founder of Eco-Optima Group.
Participants also actively discussed topics during thematic sessions.
Yurii Fedak, Deputy Director for Development at Eco-Optima LLC, spoke at the discussion panel “Wind Project Development in Ukraine.” The speaker talked about our unique experience in building and launching a wind farm at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, pointing out all the features of the process: site selection, wind measurements, environmental impact assessment, connection to the power grid, and geological surveys. “Our experience has greatly motivated us, so Eco-Optima Group has not stopped and is currently implementing two more wind farm construction projects,” added Yurii Fedak.
