DTEK Academy participants paid a study visit

The group of the programme ‘Effective Leader: Pre-MBA’ was held at the production facilities of Zakhidnadraservis Group, a leader in the gas production industry in western Ukraine.

The guests had the opportunity to talk to Stepan Kozytskiy, CEO of Zakhidnadraservis, Igor Huk, Executive Director of «Drilling Company «Goryzonty» LCC, and Yaroslav Porada, Director of «Service Company "Goryzonty" LLC

The participants were informed about advanced drilling technologies, innovative approaches to field exploration and development, and innovative solutions for providing directional drilling support. The programme attendees communicated with the specialists and learned about the challenges and opportunities faced by the Zakhidnadraservis team in their daily work.

They also talked about the peculiarities of crisis management, staff motivation, and the implementation of plans during the war in companies working for the country's energy security.

As planned, the guests also visited the Oriv Windpark, the largest in western Ukraine. Yurii Fedak, Deputy Director for Development of Eco-Optima Group, explained how difficult it was to build the wind farm, how decisions were made in turbulent conditions and how difficulties were overcome.
